The hallway is not the kitchen. The Kindle is not an iPad. Each display gets a job it can do well.

Local by default.

No OldPhoneKiosk cloud account. No analytics SDKs. Home Assistant owns the data and configuration.

Kindle is just a URL.

Create the display in Home Assistant and open the returned local URL on the Kindle browser.
